About Us

As a non-profit, faith-based organization, the Lutheran Homes of South Carolina (LHSC) Foundation, Inc. receives and administers gifts to all ministries under LHSC. We are proud to offer donors who care about older adults and hospice patients philanthropic opportunities by being faithful stewards of their gifts.

These ministries include Franke at Seaside, the Heritage at Lowman, Rice Estate, RoseCrest, and Trinity on Laurens. We also offer support through Lutheran Hospice in the Upstate, Midlands, and Lowcountry while providing BeWell Home Services, a non-medical home care program, and BeWell@Home, a healthcare membership program, across the state.

Mission Statement

The mission of Lutheran Homes of South Carolina Foundation, Inc. is to support the ministry of Lutheran Homes of South Carolina by enabling donors, who care about older adults and hospice patients, to achieve their philanthropic goals and by being a faithful steward of their gifts.

As a ministry built on trust, Lutheran Homes of South Carolina will be:

  • The premier provider of quality residential, health care and hospice services for older adults in South Carolina;
