The Foundation accepts vehicles such as cars, vans, trucks, and golf carts that are in good working condition to benefit the ministries of LHSC. Volunteer positions are available at each of the Lutheran Homes' locations and Lutheran Hospice offices. If you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities, please call the location nearest you and ask for the Volunteer Coordinator.

We are eternally grateful for those who continue to support the mission of Lutheran Homes of South Carolina. As a thank you to our donors, we have created a way in which we can honor these Good Samaritans.
The Foundation has established the Innkeeper Society to recognize donors who are servant leaders in supporting our ministry with older adults and hospice patients. The Innkeeper Society takes its name from the Innkeeper in Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan, who became a partner in providing care for the man found lying beaten at the side of the road.
Donors who contribute $250 or more or volunteer 100 or more hours in a calendar year are recognized as annual Innkeepers. Donors who have contributed a total of $10,000 or 1,000 volunteer hours are recognized as Lifetime Members.
Because of the support of our Innkeepers, we can continue our mission of improving the lives of senior adults throughout South Carolina.
